All of the classes begin the year learning some patriotic music. However, second graders have also learned about the history of the Star Spangled Banner. We have used our smart board to participate in an interactive site and learn facts about the actual flag that inspired the song. Classes who correctly answered 14 questions about the flag, have earned a certificate from the site itself!
Be sure to ask your 2nd grader about some interesting things they learned.
